<\/p>\nAre you diving towards failure in blogging? OK so we know that anyone can start a blog, we\u2019ve covered that part a gazillion times already. Anyone can put AdSense on a low traffic blog and get totally disheartened when they see measly to non-existent earnings. Anyone can comfortably figure out how WordPress works with enough practice\u2026 Anyone can blog\u2026<\/p>\n
How about you? I bet you can do all those things and more right? But can you really achieve real success in blogging like the big name bloggers, or are you doomed for failure?<\/p>\n
That question applies to us all aiming to get somewhere in blogging but feel we haven\u2019t yet achieved the level of success we want, and only ourselves can answer that question.<\/p>\n
So we\u2019ve covered a lot of tips for blogging success here on the blog, but is there anything that could almost guarantee your failure in blogging? And if so how could you avoid them?<\/p>\n
Yes there are many obstacles that await us, but we can\u2019t cover every single one of them in this post.<\/p>\n

OK let\u2019s dive deeper and hopefully I will have kicked your ass and inspired you a little, that\u2019s always been one of my goals in any case with this blog.<\/p>\n
You might be wondering what your comfort zone actually is. Well that\u2019s where you\u2019re at now and not where you want to be, but can\u2019t get where you want to be because you\u2019re afraid or something is stopping you.<\/p>\n
So what\u2019s the solution?<\/p>\n
Screw it\u2026 take a risk!<\/p>\n
(Disclaimer: I will not be held responsible for any undesired effects that may evolve in your life should you decide to \u2018screw it and take a risk\u2019)<\/em><\/p>\n 8 years ago before I ventured into online business and gave up my comfortable $25,000 a year cushy but boring job filing papers, everyone thought I was mad. My girlfriend at the time even left me because of it. Why? Because I ventured out of my comfort zone and took the risk of starting my own business.<\/p>\n Whatever your case may be, don\u2019t accept where you\u2019re at now simply because something or other people expect you to remain there or you feel comfortable where you are now, or you\u2019re afraid. Go forth and challenge yourself \u2013 if you have nothing to lose and everything to gain, get the hell out of your comfort zone and take a risk and see what happens, once again please read my disclosure above before taking any drastic action.<\/p>\n Additionally:<\/strong><\/p>\n I\u2019m sure you\u2019ve read about this one a million times before on so many other blogs. But despite having done so, I bet you\u2019re still doing it and following what blogger x, y and z is doing. Don\u2019t worry I\u2019ve been guilty of it myself.<\/p>\n It\u2019s so easy to get caught up in the rat race, we see our fellow blogging friends doing something cool and naturally we go out and do the same.<\/p>\n We all have a choice in life as in blogging as in online business. We can follow the path someone else has nicely carved out and pick up the loose change along the way, or we can create our own paths, our own destiny and reap bigger rewards.<\/p>\n If something worked out successfully well for somebody else, you shouldn\u2019t assume that it will necessarily work for you too. This doesn\u2019t always apply but essentially real success comes when we pave our own paths towards it.<\/p>\n CASE STUDY:<\/strong><\/p>\n A fitness blogger copied top competitors by writing similar listicles and motivational posts. Traffic remained stagnant for two years. After shifting to unique transformation case studies<\/strong> from real clients\u2014something competitors never showcased\u2014organic traffic grew by 180%, and sponsorship deals doubled within six months. He succeeded only after stopping<\/em> the imitation cycle.<\/p>\n This is as far as I\u2019m concerned the ultimate \u2018blog dream success killing tactic\u2019\u2026 Putting it off for another day that is\u2026<\/p>\n I\u2019ve personally lost count of the number of things that I\u2019ve put off for another day. Completing my eBook and online marketing courses has been amongst many of them.<\/p>\n And I\u2019m sure you yourself have a list of a trillion things waiting for your undivided attention, but are waiting for the right time or perfect day to come.<\/p>\n Don\u2019t wait for another day, make a list of the core things that you really want to get done and start making things happen today, in fact when you\u2019re done reading this post I want you to go and grab your list or pen and paper, and start making things happen straight away.<\/p>\n If you\u2019re planning on recording a YouTube video, go do it today!<\/p>\n If you\u2019re planning to start a podcast, go look into it today!<\/p>\n If you\u2019re planning to start writing an eBook, go and make a start on your first paragraph today!<\/p>\n Don\u2019t put anything off anymore; even if it\u2019s half of something, starting it is at least better than putting it off for later or worse still not doing it at all. The discipline that you train yourself to take immediate action can be the difference between success and failure in blogging.<\/p>\n Additionally:<\/strong><\/p>\n Negativity comes in many shapes and sizes, and it doesn\u2019t necessarily have to be something someone\u2019s said or written about you either; you can get negative vibes simply from being let down or not getting the results you were expecting.<\/p>\n A newbie comes along and hears about how you can make money from blogging with AdSense, so he builds his first blog. He adds content and plasters AdSense ads all over his blog\u2026 He then religiously logs into his AdSense account every few minutes of every waking hour, and this goes on for weeks and even months on end, only to be greeted by a big fat zero clicks and zero earnings. He feels negative about it and gives up\u2026<\/p>\n If you can\u2019t deal with negativity in blogging then you shouldn\u2019t be blogging at all, because as most bloggers know, we face some form of negativity every now and then, it\u2019s what challenges us to become better right?<\/p>\n Use negativity to fuel your passion further and to help you achieve what it is you\u2019re trying to achieve, whether it\u2019s increasing AdSense earnings or completing your first draft for your eBook.
